Reading Plan Descriptions

Praying the Bible: Psalms of the Day – Pray Scripture Back to God
One helpful approach to staying consistent in prayer is to read and pray through the Psalms. Use this reading plan as a tool to help you pick a new psalm to pray through each and every day. By reading five psalms daily over the course of 31 days, you'll be able to read and pray through the entire book of the Psalms. This plan was adapted from Praying the Bible by Don Whitney. Readers can choose to read and pray over one or multiple Psalms each day.

30 Days in the New Testament
Over the course of 30 days, this plan will walk you through the New Testament with selected passages exploring the life of Christ, the growth of the church, the teachings of the Apostles, and the final triumph over the enemy. Each day’s reading is 1-2 chapters in length.

Through the Bible in 20 days  - A Guided Tour of Scripture
This reading plan is intended to be a child’s first exposure to regular Bible reading, geared toward ages 8 to 10. It includes twenty days of selected reading,  spread over one month, with five readings per week. Each day’s reading is 1 chapter in length.

A Proverb a Day – The Art of Godly Living
Read through the book of Proverbs in a month, one chapter a day, with this 31-day plan.“Proverbs is a collection or anthology of individual proverbs that offers skill in the art of godly living. The book provides wisdom for reflecting God’s glory in the details of daily life and in one’s relationships. It demonstrates clearly that God’s ways are intensely practical and apply to every aspect of his people’s lives.” – Lydia Brownback

Once you've signed up for a plan, the leader for that plan will be in touch with details such as how to find the plan, tips for getting the most out of your reading, and how to keep in touch with others who are reading the plan.
